What's a day-after session for?+
Couples who want longer, slower portraits than the wedding day allowed. Or who eloped + want a session in a different location. Or who didn't love their wedding-day portraits and want a do-over with no time pressure.
Do you really trash the dress?+
Sometimes literally — into surf, sand, dirt. Most couples just want freedom to move + sit on the floor + lean into walls without worrying about the dress. We coordinate dry-cleaning afterward.
How long is a session?+
90 minutes typical. Add 60 min for second-location sessions. Longer for destination day-after sessions where we travel to a remote spot.
When should we do it?+
Day after wedding (couples who stayed in town) or 6-12 months later (anniversary-adjacent). Both work. Day-after captures the still-fresh feeling; later sessions capture how you've grown into the marriage.
